Here you will quickly find answers to frequently asked questions.
Are all the promotional gifts offered by Kinkston visible on the website?
Our product range is constantly updated to offer you the most modern selection of promotional gifts. Therefore, not all the products we offer are displayed on our website. The site features a curated selection, designed to meet most needs.
If you can’t find the product you’re looking for on our website, we recommend contacting our project managers, who will assist you in finding the most suitable product for your needs.
What determines the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order quantity for promotional gifts and branded products depends on the product, printing technology, delivery distance, the complexity of the logo or advertising message (colors and details), and the customer’s specific requirements.
For example, engraving small quantities of metal or wooden products in stock is straightforward.
What are the options for custom solutions?
Custom solutions are considered projects where products are specifically manufactured for the client. Some products are created entirely in the shape desired by the client, while others become unique through designs tailored to the client’s preferences.
Where and how can samples be viewed?
A great selection of samples and completed works can be found in Kinkston's showroom in Tallinn, Madara 29/2. A selection of completed works is also available on our website, Instagram, Linkedin, and Facebook.
Is it possible to get a sample for a custom solution as well?
Depending on the product and project, we can arrange for the factory to send the client a photo or a sample of the finished product. In the case of a sample, please note that the project might take a little longer.
Who creates the design for promotional gifts?
Due to the specifics of the promotional gifts industry (print area size and placement, material of the corporate gift, and the technology used), the design is created by Kinkston's designer.
In what format should the files/logo be submitted?
To apply a logo or design to promotional products, the design files must be submitted in vector format.
Text to be printed on promotional gifts should also be provided as a vector file, or the desired font should be specified by name. Acceptable file types include: .pdf, .cdr, .ai, .eps. For color specifications, Pantone (PMS) color charts and codes should be used.
For images (e.g., for digital printing methods), raster graphic files are also acceptable: .tif, .psd, .jpg, .png. The file must have sufficient resolution and be created using the CMYK color model.
What are Pantone, CMYK, and RGB?
Pantone is a standardized color system with 1341 color shades used in the printing industry. These specific spot colors, defined by exact LAB values, are created by mixing 15 base colors. Pantone allows the printing of shades that cannot be achieved with the CMYK color system.
CMYK is a four-color printing model consisting of four process colors – Cyan (light blue), Magenta (purple-red), Yellow, and Key (black). A percentage value of these process colors represents each pixel in a CMYK image.
RGB is an additive color model where various shades are formed by combining three primary colors: Red (R), Green (G), and Blue (B). This model is used in light-emitting devices such as televisions, mobile phones, and monitors.
Understanding the characteristics of different color models, as the RGB system has a wider color gamut than CMYK. As a result, not all colors visible on a computer screen can be printed exactly as they appear. For precise logo color matching, it is better to use Pantone color charts.
How is the price of a promotional gift determined?
The price of promotional gifts, corporate gifts, promotional products, and the printing, engraving, or embroidery of logos or messages depends on several factors, including the quantity of products, design, printing technology, print area size, product material, and the complexity of the print.
Rush orders can also be processed, but the prices for these may be higher than for standard orders.
